	JJ-NLAAQUAMARINE NOVAGEM with Novagem Tag, that actually hung from the Tower Of Jewels and not one of the “new” jewels that were sold as souvenirs at the Exposition. The difference being the ones sold as souvenirs had a PPIE emblem on the back and stamped “Novagem – Official Souvenir – Patents Pending”.  Also the ones that hung on the tower have only the words “PATENT PENDING” at the top of copper hanger around hole which this one has. The Novagem Tag, when present, has a likeness of the Tower on one side and the other side reads, “FROM THE TOWER OF JEWELS P. P. I. E. 1915, CERTIFIED W. DARCY RYAN CHIEF OF ILLUMINATION, NOVAGEM”.  NOVAGEMS were made in Bohemia (per Wikipedia: Bohemia is a historical country of Central Europe, occupying the western two-thirds of the traditional Czech lands. It is located in the contemporary Czech Republic with its capital in Prague..). Novagem and hanger measures just over 3 inches. The jewel itself on these Largest Novagems measures 47mm (1.85″) across. The rear copper circle is to hold a mirror. Four prongs hold the jewel in its copper surround.
